Google + communities

Social network

I've read a lot since the launch of G+ about the lack of engagement on the social network. That has steadily improved over the years and in my opinion G+ has an engaged community posting tons of rich content.

But recently  I experienced engagement on a whole new level. I joined some communities on G+ in recreational areas that interest me - health, running, mountain biking etc. These communities are great. They are useful, interesting and motivational. The level of support and camaraderie is awesome.

If you're looking to get more out of your social network than pics of your buddies at beer pong Thursday, then try out a G+ community.
