Professor Jack Guttentag is otherwise well-known on the web as the Mortgage Professor. He writes for Yahoo as a mortgage expert and has published a wealth of mortgage information on his own site - the Mortgage Professor. I met Professor Guttentag in Washington DC last year to get some advice on the mortgage industry, and it was a most enjoyable visit - the Prof very kindly agreeing to give up time on the weekend (and after a recent illness) to meet me and two of my colleagues at his office.
The Professor has written helpful reviews about many mortgage sites. These have included reviews about Zillow.com, Mortgagemarvel.com and others. I wonder if he will continue writing such reviews or whether the conflict of interest will be too great.
In the meantime, I am looking forward to the conference and wish all the Finovate presenters the best of luck.
